Perfity is built to keep your data private. Your health and fitness information stays on your device and, if you enable iCloud Sync, in your own private iCloud account. We do not collect, receive, store, or have access to your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties. Perfity contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking.
Perfity (“the app”) is developed by WATCHDATA s.r.o. (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
With your permission, Perfity reads the following from Apple Health to show and analyze your activity:
When you record a weigh-in (for example from a Bluetooth scale), Perfity can write the following back to Apple Health so other apps can use it: body mass (weight), body fat percentage, lean body mass, and body mass index.
You control this access in the Health app at any time, and Perfity works without it. In line with Apple’s requirements, data obtained from HealthKit is never used for advertising or marketing, and is never sold or shared with third parties.
If you enable iCloud Sync, your Perfity data — such as workouts, groups, shoes, and weigh-ins — is stored in the private database of your personal iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. This lets your data sync across your own devices and serve as a backup. The data resides in your iCloud account under your Apple ID; we cannot read or access it, and its handling by Apple is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. You can turn iCloud Sync off in the app’s Settings.
If you enable Bluetooth scale support, Perfity uses Bluetooth to read weight (and, on supported scales, body-composition) measurements directly from your scale while the app is open. This communication is local between your device and your scale. The measurements are stored on your device — and in your iCloud, if sync is enabled — and are not transmitted to us.
We do not collect or receive any personal information. Perfity has no user accounts, no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no tracking. All processing happens on your device.
Because your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud, you remain in control of it:
Perfity is not directed at children under the age required by the laws of your jurisdiction, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
WATCHDATA s.r.o. is based in the European Union. To the extent data protection law applies: because we do not hold your personal data, we cannot access, export, or erase it on your behalf — you can do so directly using the controls above and in your Apple Health and iCloud settings. For data stored in iCloud, Apple acts as the provider; see Apple’s Privacy Policy for your rights regarding that data. If you have any questions, please contact us.
